The problem
Job boards fail on both sides at once: candidates see irrelevant roles, recruiters see irrelevant applicants. The matching has to be good enough that neither side has to wade.
What we did
- Built the platform end to end: Next.js front end, Node API, PostgreSQL.
- Implemented AI matching between candidate profiles and job posts, with scoring surfaced to both sides.
- Added AI prefill for job posting, so a recruiter can paste a description and get a structured post back.
- Built separate recruiter and candidate account types with their own permissions and dashboards.
- Added a community forum alongside the job surfaces, and a talent search for recruiters.
- Ran a security pass over authentication and access control before launch.
Result
Live at taland.tn, in French, with candidate and recruiter sides both in production.
